I saw The Punisher movie again recently (the 2004 one starring Tom Jane) and yeah, it's a good movie. A lot of people - including myself (when I first saw it) believed the movie lacked a storyline, however upon seeing it again and then doing a little reading on The Punisher, I realised that pretty much IS the storyline, and that for a movie, they nailed it.
I dunno what I was doing with this, as with a lot of stuff I'm doing now. But yeah. I gave The Punisher a 'zombie' style of face paint (of his own signature skull) which I got from the actual game of the Punisher. I wanted it to be a half portrait picture, almost like a book mark (it's a tad bit thick to be a book mark). In regards to his hair, it's inspired from the fictional character Sam Fisher, from the upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction game. When it comes to the hair, I was originally going to have his hair down for a reason. e.g. rain water, blood coming out of his forehead etc (also, when it comes to drawing short hair, I can't - it always looks stupid). However as you can plainly see, I didn't bother with those details.
This was drawn in Adobe Photoshop CS2 using a WACOM tablet, estimated time probably two hours.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
