While at uni today, I was bored while hanging out with the others in the library. So I got out my "Boredom" sketch book and started drawing. And the character, Mr Smile, has returned. This is a traditional sketch, done with simple pen and paper.
I originally developed this character back in 2005 for my year twelve art project. Strangely there's no information on him, just that I thought it would be freaky to see a hitman-style guy in a dark suit, but with an odd, large and round smiley face helmet. It's different, to say the least.
I'm going to be attempting to develop my own comic book for my independent studies class in uni, I still have no concept or genre for the said idea however, this design is a possibility.
Aye, probably. It's a recurring drawing of mine that is common to see from time to time, although I haven't drawn the concept in quite sometime. Only bought it back recently for the possibilities of my independent studies assignment.

"Caress the one, the never fading rain in your heart, the tears of snow white sorrow, caress the one, the hiding amaranth, in the land of daybreak!"
I can see it now: One cold halloween, Agent 47 is stalking the icy streets; pistol tucked discreetly in his inside jacket-pocket, locked, loaded and ready to end the life of an unsuspecting 'mark' with a sound no louder than a click of the fingers.
When suddenly 47 slips on the frosted road and crashes through the curbside basement window of a secret lab, landing in a large metallic pod. Then there is a thundering sound as some machinery springs into life, lightning sprays around the room sporadically and in the flashes of light, 47 can just discern written above the pod "Portal to Halloweenland".
There is a crescendo, one final crash of light and sound and then silence.
47 akakes several hours later in the now decimated lab. Shuffling through the wreckage, he stops as he comes across a shard of a mirror lying amongst the dirt.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh!!!!" He screams aloud.
"What have I become?!" As he discovers he now bears the face of the fabled Pumpkin-King, Jack Skellington!
Well not quite accurate to the drawing, but I'm sure you get the idea.
Anyway, 2x in two days! Great work!

"The day after tommorow is the first day of the rest of your life." -That way, you've always got a couple of days in hand. (Bill Bailey)
The design itself of this "Mr Smile" is indeed very Agent 47. The suit, the sorta.. 'sway' in his stance/movement. Although colour scheme-wise his suit would consist of only yellow and black (pure black suit, yellow tie).
Thanks for also adding this to your favourites. I'm glad you like it and I really do appreciate it.. especially for the "two favourites in two days" as you mentioned. Thanks.

He first appears in Alan Moore's Watchmen as the Comedian's pin. Later on he appears as the president of an alternate USA in an issue of the Sandman by Neil Gaiman.

Have you seen my mind? I seem to have lost it.
